No Security in the Department of Homeland Security
Almost 20 years ago I was shocked to watch the 9/11 attacks. The lesson we were told was that the majority of the 19 hijackers had overstayed their Visas. Key information had not been shared between law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Dammit, this must never happen again. We needed a new Department of Homeland Security and a Patriot Act to be able to know just who the hell is in our country and to monitor and remove them. Fast forward 20 years.
